Every so often we come across things in life that we wish had taken a different turn, and how things might have been much better if such and such a thing had happened in the way you had wanted it to. Being the daydreamer (lifedreamer?) that I am, am wont to say I too have such moments everyday.

Though on a more practical note I am more inclined towards the fundamentals of “Game Theory” than towards daydreaming, but then, I cannot with any amount of effort get rid of the daydreaming portion of my life without also letting go of my rationality, because somehow I believe that the two in my case or maybe in a lot of people’s cases are so intertwined to such a level that for every pound of the daydreaming flesh, rationality seems like a drop of blood.

This daydreaming of mine was sometimes chronicled into the verses in the poems you see below. They deal with my world. The entire thoughtspan of my world from “a world that could have been”, to a “world that is” to a “world that still can be”. It is going to be a lot of fun to sit back after another 30 or 40 years and then read about the world as I saw it way back in my life and see how much of what I wished fructified and how much petered out.
